Curricular Choirs
Chamber Choir - Advanced SATB
The Chamber Choir is Lewis Central’s premier singing ensemble, and one of eight vocal ensembles offered at LC. It is comprised of tenth through twelfth graders who audition in the Spring. In addition to choir, students in this ensemble represent nearly every other sport and activity at Lewis Central. This ensemble has regularly earned Division I ratings at contest, had several students selected for the Iowa All-State Choir, and had many students earn Division I ratings at Solo Contest.
Bella Voce - Advanced Treble
Bella Voce is the advanced treble choir for students in Grades 10–12. Many of these students participate in State Solo & Small Ensemble Contest, and this ensemble performs at State Large Ensemble Contest in the Spring.
Treble & Bass Clef - Unauditioned Choirs
Treble and Bass Clef Choirs are the unauditioned entry-level choirs open to students in grades 9-12. They participate in all four of our concerts through the year, and many students participate in extracurricular ensembles as well.

Lewis Corporation - Varsity Mixed Show Choir
Lewis Corporation has been a select performing ensemble at Lewis Central High School since 1972, and recently celebrated its 50th anniversary! This is the varsity mixed show choir at LCHS, which competes 5-6 times per season around the midwest. They have recently earned awards such as Grand Champions, Best Vocals, Best Choreography, Best Band, and several Outstanding Solo's.
Lewis Company - Prep Treble Show Choir
Lewis Company is an auditioned treble show choir at LCHS, which competes 5 times per season on average around the midwest. They have recently earned awards such as Treble Division Champions, Best Costumes, and earned places in Finals several times.
Singcopation - Advanced a cappella
This is an elite select ensemble of singers. Students perform in various concerts, community events, contests, and perform the National Anthem. Repertoire has included vocal jazz, madrigals, chamber ensemble, and pop a cappella.
